Sex health tips

Most of us don’t know actually about the two types of viruses that are caused through STIs. We, in this blog will discuss about the herpes and let you know that is kissing responsible for herpes or not. Firstly we will discuss the type of viruses:
Herpes simplex Type 1 or oral herpes: These types of virus causes blisters around and inside the mouth and can spread to elsewhere also. The outbreak of such oral herpes are also known by ‘cold sores ‘or ‘fever blisters’.
The oral herpes infection is quite prevalent. Some person shows the symptoms of this outbreak while some are not. There are some persons who experience serious outbreak of sores around the mouth.
As per the latest survey approximately 57 % of the people from US are infected with this virus. You can get the herpes type 1 virus through the carrier rather than having own. The infection may be transferred through the saliva of the infected person or coming in contact with the cold sores of infected one.
It is worth to mention here that it is possible that you may get herpes from kissing although it not quite common case but it can happen.
Herpes simplex Type 2 or Genital herpes: this type of virus normally results in the blisters that are developed around the genital area and rarely on the other part of the body. More than 16% of the US people are suffering from type 2 virus. This is also becoming common with more and more unsafe sex.
The foremost reason of this infection is through the sexual contact. It may be vaginal, oral or anal sex. If one of the partner is infected with this disease then it will be transfer to the partner. The early signs and symptoms may not be seen at a time but will happen later. Genital herpes affect the mouth through oral sex.
If you are infected with either of its type then you will get herpes virus for lifelong. You may prevent it from going to severe condition but cannot cure it properly. This disease can re-occur any time.
How the herpes spread?
The main cause of this virus is not only kissing. Blood is also a factor for its spread. The main areas where it will affect are throat, eyes, vulva, vagina, mouth and lips. If you notice here that the virus mainly affects the moist area. The herpes virus stays in your body even after the healing of sores. The infection at this stage may transmit to the partner even. So wait until the normal skin regains.
Can you get herpes from the surface where infected people have touched?
The answer for this is totally no. You cannot get herpes from the towel, clothes, bathtubs, toilets and swimming pools of the infected person if he has touched or come in contact with the above things.
Early signs and symptoms
The symptoms normally appear within 20 days from the transmission of genital herpes. The early signs are pain and itching with appearance of sores thereafter. If there is oral herpes virus then the symptoms may remain hidden or asymptomatic but if the infection is symptomatic then the symptoms start appearing from day 2.
First signs of herpes
The most common signs are tingling, burning and itching on the affected area. The blisters and sores appear after the first signs of this virus. There are few more signs that one will experience during or before the outbreak occurs. We are discussing these signs below.
1. Burning while urinating.
2. Swollen glands and groin lymph glands, throat and under arms.
3. Mild headache.
4. Muscle pain.
5. Illness.
6. Flu like condition.
7. Nausea.
8. Fever.
9. Urine problem.
These symptoms can be easily cured if diagnosed at the right time.
